New Look
The blog is sporting a new look today. The previous theme had been used for quite awhile so I figured it was time for something new. Along with the new theme there is a new photo gallery. The gallery features my Flickr albums.
For those of you who only follow this blog via RSS stop on by and let me know what you think of the new look.

Friday Photo
A headstone at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California. See more of my photos at my photoblog and on Flickr.
Friday Photo - Water Fountain Fun
The family and I went for a walk last weekend. The boys were getting hot and decided to get a drink at the water fountain. That’s when the fun began.
I set a fast shutter speed and clicked away. This is one of my favorites from the sequence of shots I took. You can see a black and white version of this photo at my photoblog (I think I like the b & w version better).
As always you can see more of my photos on Flickr and at my photoblog.
Friday Photo - San Pasqual Valley
I took a few photos of San Pasqual Valley this past weekend.
The remnants of a storm produced much more dramatic skies than we usually get. The greener area of the valley is a sod farm. Be sure to check this photo out on Flickr for a link to a larger version.
As always, you can find more of my photos on Flickr and at my photoblog.
An Event to Be Remembered
The event I’m referring to is the first time I paid $4.00 or more for a gallon of gas. It happened today!
Earlier this week I saw gas for $3.91 a gallon. Could the increase in prices have anything to do with this being Memorial Day weekend? No, gas station owners would never take advantage of people, would they? ![]()
