Friday Photos

Ryan Wentzel on February 15th, 2008

Last Saturday I woke up at 4:30 AM after having slept for 3 hours. I left my house at 5:00 AM to drive down to Coronado Island with the hope of catching a few good shots of the San Diego skyline. The sun hadn’t come up yet when I arrived. After finding a spot with a good view of downtown San Diego I set up my tripod and began shooting.

Below is one of the first shots of the day. You can see more photos from my trip to Coronado in my San Diego photoset on Flickr. There are also a few shots in the set taken that same day, but at sunset.

This photo was also posted to my photoblog this past week.

Here’s another shot taken at the San Diego Zoo. I had a lot of fun using my new Sigma 70-300mm. If you’re interested, you can see more of my San Diego Zoo photos on Flickr.
