Desiring God has released another video clip of an interview with Tim Keller. In this video Keller discusses whether the church he pastors is “emergent”.
Summary: Redeemer is reaching the people emerging/emergent churches are trying to reach, but probably could not be considered emergent.

Mark Lauterbach of GospelDrivenLife has been writing a series entitled “Relevance or Faithfulness?”. I preached on 1 Peter 2:9-10 this evening.

Mark Lauterbach continues to write about faithfulness and relevance. Joe Thorn has a post about contextualizing the Gospel that compliments Lauterbach recent posts. Unfortunately when many Christians hear the words “contextualize” and “Gospel” in the same sentence they prepare for battle. They don’t realize that both here and abroad Christians contextualize the faith all the time in ways that are commendable and faithful to God.
