VMWare Server is out of beta and is still free as promised. Awhile back I needed to work with Windows Server 2003. I had the OS, but didn’t have a machine to install it on. VMWare Server came to the rescue and I was really pleased with how it performed.
Microsoft’s Virtual PC 2004 is now free as well. I’ve not used this software very much so I can’t really compare it to VMWare Server.

I learned via Digg that you can now use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out while looking at a Google Map.
Give it a try.

I’m continuing to read Missional Church. In chapter 5 there is an excellent description of the church as a representative of the reign (kingdom) of God.
The church is a preview of life under the rule of God in the age to come, a forerunner of the new Jerusalem, a foretaste of the heavenly banquet, a sign of the reign of God.

I thought Kevin Cawley’s review of Mark Driscoll’s newest book Confessions of Reformission Rev was insightful. Read it here.
